Choose a landscape

Of the games in this section this is the only one without a task. There is nothing to hit and nothing that ever finishes — the child alone decides which animal goes into the landscape and where. Free composition without right and wrong is not a break from learning at this age, it is a form of it: the child tries out relative sizes, matches animals to their habitat and tells a story along the way. There are two ways to play — drag or tap — because many two-year-olds cannot drag reliably yet, and a game that knows only one way would shut them out. Each animal says its name as it lands, which supports vocabulary at exactly this age. The picture stays saved and can be downloaded or printed.
