How to play
The goal is to move all 52 cards onto the four foundations at the top right, sorted by suit from ace to king.
On the seven piles you build down in alternating colours: a red nine on a black ten. A matching run can move as a whole. Only a king goes on an empty pile. When the last face-up card of a pile moves, the face-down card below turns over.
Stuck? Tap the stock at the top left. It deals one or three cards onto the waste. Once it is empty, one tap turns the waste back over.
Controls
- Tap a card and it goes where it helps most: first to its foundation, otherwise to the first fitting pile from the left.
- You can also drag cards yourself. Roughly on target is enough.
- Once every card is face up, the game plays the last cards onto the foundations for you.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Solitaire free here?
- Yes. No ads, no purchases, no account. Open the page and play.
- Which rules apply?
- Klondike, the familiar version from Windows: seven piles, four foundations, one stock. You can draw one or three cards at a time and go through the stock as often as you like.
- Is my game saved?
- Yes, after every move, but only in your browser. Next time the layout is exactly as you left it.
- Can I undo a move?
- Yes, up to 120 moves back. Ctrl+Z works too.
- Can every game be won?
- No. Some deals cannot be solved by any sequence of moves; that is part of Klondike. Drawing one card wins far more games than drawing three.
